The food was delicious, especially the orange jam, and most of it is made by the owners. There’s a clean pool with lots of room for sunbathing, plus a beautifully decorated patio and plenty of space outside the apartment. The suite did have a slight basement smell, so it wasn’t somewhere I wanted to sit for long. I recommend the place.

There are lots of vegetarian options at the breakfast buffet, which was a great choice. Everyone was polite and helpful, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. I mention the cleaning first because I’ve seen reviews questioning it: the cleaner comes daily to mop and clean the bathroom, and fresh sheets and towels are brought every other day. Everything was clean.

The staff were really friendly, and the hotel is in a quiet setting with a nice pool. The room wasn’t very clean, though, especially the bathroom, which was particularly dirty. I didn’t try breakfast, but you can get it for €4 and it looked nice.

They don’t provide shampoo for the shower, and the toilet has an odd design I haven’t seen in another hotel. The shampoo in the photo is ours, by the way. The room looked a bit messy in the photos, though it was tidier on our first day. Breakfast was a little poor. At least there was olive oil, but no feta. The town centre is about a 10-minute walk. Without a car, it takes 20-30 minutes to walk to the KTEL bus station. Buses going to Tsivili stop at the intersection, but buses going to Laganas don’t. You could stay here for a week or so if you’re not after anything fancy.
