Manousos made us feel at home and was so helpful with advice and questions. We arrived late, so finding fruit, bread, jam, milk, coffee and tea ready for breakfast was much appreciated, especially with hungry children. He even asked what could be improved, though the property was already great. The outdoor kitchen and pool were a hit with both adults and children. There are two villas behind an entrance gate, sharing a pool and outdoor terrace with a kitchen and grill, ping-pong table, and small playground. Our villa had a large balcony off the living room, overlooking olive groves, where we enjoyed meals when we weren't by the pool. The kitchen was well stocked with matching sets of plates and glasses, plus lots of appliances for anyone who wants to cook. The property was beautifully kept, and the setting felt quiet and countryside-like while still being near restaurants, supermarkets, beaches, and attractions. We had a truly amazing vacation. The nearest supermarket is about 2-3 minutes away, with plenty more under a 10-minute drive in Adele, Platanas or Sfakaki. For a good bakery, try Giampous bakery, though its baklava was a bit below our liking standards. Rethymno is about 15 minutes away. If you go, park at the port parking lot, which takes coins only and costs 3-5 euros for almost a full day. We'd definitely return and highly recommend this charming property.

The outdoor kitchen and dining area, private pool, playground, table tennis, and parking made this a wonderful villa stay in Crete. Beaches and supermarkets are only a few minutes away by car. I'd stay again.

We were the only guests across the villa property, since the second villa wasn't booked. The owner gave us a welcome gift of olive oil from the trees in the garden, and delivered anything we needed. The villa sits farther from the sea, so we appreciated avoiding the strong, cold wind at the seaside. Around the house and pool, the olive garden and pool area were lovely. Inside, there's a big living area with a super cozy sofa, a well equipped kitchen, and everything we needed. We loved having breakfast and lunch on the big terrace, with its superb mountain view. It was a clean, cozy place and we enjoyed our holiday to the fullest. We'd definitely like to stay again.

Manos stayed in touch to make sure we had everything we needed, and we'd happily stay here again when we're in Crete. We rented both villas for a week while attending our daughter's wedding just five minutes away, so the location worked perfectly for our family and the groom's family. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. A bottle of homemade olive oil and a jar of local thyme honey were waiting for us. The spacious living room had a large sectional that easily fit a big group. Thank you for a lovely week.
