Hotel Klonos - Kyriakos Klonos

The hotel was very nice, the staff friendly, the place tidy, and the pool really clean. We enjoyed our short visit and felt welcome. My one concern is that smoking is allowed around the pool. I really hate the smoke, and non-smokers, including children, have no choice but to breathe it. That doesn’t seem fair. Smoking is banned in many public spaces, such as outside schools in the EU, and hotels could consider stricter rules to make the property healthier and more family-friendly. I hope they’ll ban smoking on the premises and ask people who want to smoke to do it at home, without bothering others.

The walk from the port takes around 10-15 minutes. That was fine in nice weather, but walking to the hotel at 4 PM when it was 35 degrees wasn’t much fun. One thing to know about the pool towels: the room said an extra one cost 2.50 euro. We asked for two and returned them, but were charged 2.50 per towel when we left, so bring your own if you’d rather not pay. Klonos Kyriakos was very clean, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The staff were lovely. Elena was kind, knowledgeable and gave us lots of advice. Breakfast was nice, and the woman serving it was also welcoming. The pool was clean and had lovely sunbeds.

The location made it easy to get to points of interest, and the shared spaces were tastefully decorated and kept in excellent condition. Our room was comfortable and spotless, and breakfast was excellent, with fresh ingredients and plenty of choice. The staff were polite, welcoming and ready to help with anything we needed. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the hotel.

We’ve been coming here with family for seven years and have always felt welcome. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to help. The hotel is very clean, and the recent room refurbishment looks great, modern and stylish. The pool is clean and lovely, especially for my little girl with its baby pool. There’s a good choice of food and drinks too. We can’t fault it, and highly recommend it :)
