The quiet setting is a short walk from the beach, and we even spotted a little hedgehog wandering through the backyard after dawn. The studios are clean, handy, air-conditioned, and well equipped, with a friendly owner who gives you a warm welcome. There's a minimarket around the corner and the traditional restaurant To Fresko nearby. Other places to eat are within a five-minute drive. Since the main tourist spots are far away, you'll want a rental car or some other way to get around independently.

We loved staying at Socrates Studios. Someone was always around when we needed help, whether with renting a bicycle or finding a taxi. We'd probably stay there again if we return to Rhodes.

Our two weeks in the two-bedroom apartment were a great holiday, especially with that huge balcony and the convenient location. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and the place had everything we needed. A really good base, and we wouldn't hesitate to book.

Lovely, clean rooms with nice decor, and only about five minutes from the beach. Such lovely people too. A great pick for a relaxing holiday 👏🏼🤩
