Celestial All Suites

The Spa was the highlight for us. GoGo, who does the treatments, was fantastic. My husband and I each had a complimentary massage, then I went back for a full body scrub, and we also used the jacuzzi. We arrived at 10:30pm and were offered a drink while our bags were taken to the room. That welcome made me feel the holiday would be relaxed. Breakfast had a good range of food and drinks, plus freshly cooked omelettes, poached eggs, and eggs Benedict. The restaurant and bar service was outstanding, and the food was excellent. We also loved waking up to the view from our room and having coffee there. The hotel is remote, with only four or five nice restaurants within walking distance and a supermarket. You’ll need a car to see more of this beautiful island. Still, we had an amazing stay and would recommend it 😊🇬🇷

The local beach is a lovely walk down the hill through a scented pine forest. The bay feels pretty, romantic, and dreamy, with views from the charming taverna. We had a yummy Greek salad and tzatziki there. A hire car is useful for crossing the mountains to reach the beautiful white sand and turquoise water beaches. The hotel itself is stylish, with a private plunge pool in every room and a 70-metre main pool lined with chic four-poster sunbeds. The receptionist is a delightful, charming woman, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Vasilis mixes cocktails expertly. It’s a dreamy spot for relaxation, calm, and making memories.

We stayed half-board. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, and dinner varied in both quality and choice, but was more than acceptable. There are also a few good restaurants within a 10-minute walk. This is a peaceful, welcoming adults-only hotel with beautiful surroundings and a VERY large pool. It’s laid out brilliantly, and the staff across the hotel were excellent, courteous, and friendly. Our room was clean and serviced daily with fresh towels. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely come again.

The evening meals were the main disappointment. Dinner started with buffet salad, then a quickly served main, followed by a return to the buffet for dessert. The choice was very limited, with five dishes listed and two always unavailable. The food was never really hot, and the dishes were poorly prepared. Even so, we had a good time and made the most of the holiday. The hotel is well appointed and sits in a beautiful location, with one of the best swimming pools. Some of the staff were fantastic, especially the receptionist, manager, and breakfast staff.
