Our family-run hosts treated us so well that we felt at home, and even gave us a gift when we left. We stayed five days, with breakfast brought each morning to our little terrace. From there we watched some amazing sunsets, and at night I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The Agia Anna beach was right at our doorstep, no long walk needed. It’s beautiful all around Naxos, but having it so close was wonderful. The newly decorated suites had very comfortable beds and pillows, all the toiletries, and beach towels for us. We also had a Nespresso machine, kettle, and fridge.

To be clear, this is about the small restaurant and bar on the beach, not the hotel. The location is nice, but the service was the worst I’ve ever had. We weren’t left waiting 15 or 30 minutes, we were ignored for hours while the server sat on the beach with family or friends. It’s hard to justify the 15 euro minimum for a beach chair when nobody’s nearby or paying attention.

A beautiful luxury room, kept spotlessly clean, with very hospitable owners. It’s right by the beach and my number one place to stay in Naxos.
