The location is a real plus, just a 2 minute walk from Plaka beach, and access to the beach beds is complimentary. The staff welcomed us warmly and were friendly, especially at breakfast and by the beach. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, though the hotel itself is just ok. My main issue was the price. I paid about €500/night for a “Garden & Sea view” room, but the view was of a parking lot and some trash, and some listing photos didn’t match what I booked. When I raised this with the hotel, they wouldn’t accept my point of view and said I should have looked more carefully at the listing. At check-in, the same room was being offered for under €250. When I booked, the displayed price was around €1000 per night with a 50% reduction. I already thought €500 was too much, even though peak season hotels in Greece tend to be expensive, but I booked based on the location, photos, and positive reviews. I’d have been happy paying half of what I did. If you can get a room for below €250 per night in peak season, go ahead, you’ll get what you paid for. Above that, I think it’s overpriced, and the displayed price reductions feel misleading. There’s nothing luxurious about Glaronissi. The building and rooms are ok, and breakfast is a small self-serve area with room for only two people at a time. You have to wait for those ahead of you to finish preparing breakfast, and you eat from plastic trays. Our room had a bad smell too, though they sorted that out quickly. I’m not happy with this booking.

We stayed in the Grand Apartment (Garden/Sea View), which was a great size for five friends. The rooms were nicely decorated, and we loved having breakfast together and playing cards on our private balcony. Breakfast was included, with lots of choices, most of which I believe used local ingredients. They left us a bottle of wine when we arrived and let us keep our bags there for a few hours after checkout. The kind, welcoming staff took great care of us. With the beach just steps away and free sunbeds available, the location made it easy to relax. We loved our stay and hope to come back. 10000/10!

We’ll definitely be back. The rooms are spacious, amazing, and well equipped, and the sunbeds are really comfortable. The beach is right in front of the rooms, at what I think is the best beach in Naxos. There was a full, different homemade breakfast each day. A perfect spot in Naxos!

The family’s service was incredible, especially Ms Betty, Yannis & Costas. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast with homemade Greek treats and locally sourced produce. This lovely little boutique hotel is right on Plaka beach, Naxos. We’ll definitely return. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Mr Al & Jackie
