Nilea Island Living

We loved spending the end of summer at Nilea. It’s just up from the beach, and the pool was awesome. Our place had two bedrooms, a kitchen, and an ocean-view balcony where we could sit and relax. The rooms were clean and quiet, the beds comfortable, and the AC worked well for the end of summer. We also enjoyed the ocean breeze, in-unit laundry, and great staff. Spiros, the manager, was really accommodating and helped us arrange a boat rental and offered other island recommendations. We rented an ATV for most of the trip, which made getting to shops, the beach, dinners, and activities easy. We’ll definitely stay there again. Thanks, Nilea and Spiros, for a great time.

The pool area is lovely, with convenient sunbeds and umbrellas, and the covered parking kept the car from getting too hot. Agia Anna and the beaches are just a 10-15 minute walk away. We rented a car from the family-run New Car Naxos, and it worked out wonderfully with our stay at Niléa. The apartment and the whole condo are brand new. We loved eating on the terrace, and the bedroom was quiet and well prepared. The kitchen had everything, including a Nespresso machine, kettle, stove and oven, microwave, fridge, sandwich toaster, and dishwasher. The one thing we missed was a washing machine; we understand some other apartments in the same condo have one. It would be helpful to give each apartment a specific parking spot and provide a PDF with basic information about the property and quiet hours. We’d come back to Niléa again and again.

We felt very welcome and well looked after at Niléa Island Living. The owner was kind and available whenever we needed help. Everything was clean and comfortable, the facilities were well maintained, and the pool was lovely for relaxing. I’d highly recommend it if you’re after a restful stay and genuine hospitality.

We’re going back next year, which says plenty. The villa was spotless inside and out, with a lovely pool area and great sunset views. Spiros and Anastsia were welcoming and helpful, and everything we needed was provided. It’s a ten-minute walk to a lovely beach and plenty of restaurants, and Chora is a short drive or bus ride away.
