Kalymnos Platy Gialos Mousellis Makis Apartments

We rented a car from this organisation. While it was parked properly and we were out climbing, someone hit its mirror. The owner and I went to the garage together, where we paid the 100 euros he asked for. After we returned the car, he started demanding more money, saying there were steering problems. We hadn’t noticed any trouble while driving, and neither had he when the car was returned. He messaged me saying I’d wrecked the car, and called my friend several times, shouting that we had to go back to the garage and pay. We’d also arranged to rent scooters for the last two days and paid 40 euros upfront. No scooters ever appeared, and he kept the money even though he texted that he’d return it. He was rude, and dealing with his behaviour wasted a lot of our time. He took money from us that he didn’t deserve. Don’t do business with this guy!

We spent two weeks at Makis and Jana's place. It’s well above the average Kalinbos rental, with a recent refurbishment and quality furnishings. More than anything, Jana and Makis were accommodating the whole time. Don’t hesitate to book it :)

The place was a good size, clean, and had a nice view. The host was helpful. The downsides were weak internet, cheap mattresses, and a foul smell from the toilet drains.

Everything was great, including the unbeatable price with car rental. Our apartment was very clean, had a superb view, and we could hear the waves. Makis was available whenever we needed information. A fantastic stay in one of Makis and Jana's apartments.
