Something Else

A really pretty place, well looked after inside and out. You can tell the building is older, but everything was so well maintained that I couldn't find a speck of dust. Our beds were comfortable, and with three balconies we had plenty of space, including a great one for meals. The room was well equipped, and the hot tub was relaxing. The main pool was a nice size, with a kiddie pool as a bonus. There's a car park at the rear and a supermarket right opposite. It's a quieter part of town, a minute from the beach and restaurants. The larger part of town takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to, but we preferred our area. The other side reminded me of a cheaper version of Ibiza. Breakfast was a big letdown, especially as we paid extra specifically for it. The bread was always stale, the fruit was basic with just one choice, and sometimes the cakes were stale too. The fried egg and bacon we usually ate were always cold. We could have saved the money and eaten at the beach a minute away, and we had to mark the place down for it. Indoors got cold in the evenings because it's a big place, and the duvets smelled really old and musty. Maybe airing them for a few days would help. There was construction next door, but it wasn't distracting, and there was building work everywhere anyway. Still, the place is lovely, and those issues wouldn't put me off.
