Melina Apartments

The area is beautiful and peaceful, and our hosts were very friendly while giving us privacy. We spent a very pleasant holiday at Melinda's villa from 1st to 31st July. It had everything we needed.

Methoni is amazing, and the place is very close to both the beach and the city. The rest of the property is nice, but the facilities need renovation for the prices they charge, as I mentioned. The furniture needs changing, the bathroom needs renovation, and their policy should change too. My wife and baby daughter had rented what the old lady there apparently considers a 5 bed studio, though I don't know what else to call it: one room with a double and single bed, plus a kitchen with a couch that turns into a bed and a bathroom. The price for my two girls was 80 euros per day. When I surprised them with a stay between business trips, she charged us 15 euros extra per day for using a bed and a pair of towels in this so-called 5 bed studio, which is ridiculous. People over 60 with little or no knowledge of modern tourism shouldn't be allowed to manage properties like this. They're colourful, but lack professionalism.

The location couldn't be better, with the studios tucked behind a beautiful rose garden and overlooking the sea. The castle, beach and village are all just a few minutes' walk away. We were four adults in two studios for the last week of June 2025, and had a fantastic holiday. The rooms were bigger than I'd expected, very clean and had good air conditioning. They were serviced halfway through, and we emptied our own bins each day. There's a full-size fridge with freezer and a mini oven. We made breakfast and lunch, but preferred eating out in the evenings. The owners were welcoming and on site if anything came up. We booked from the UK by email, paid the deposit by international bank transfer, and had good communication from Paulyn. It was our third visit to Methoni but first at these studios, by far our best accommodation. Thank you from four happy guests!

Set in green surroundings just a few steps from the sea and Methoni center, these apartments have a lovely retro feel and a warm, family atmosphere.
