We felt at home as soon as we arrived at the Achilles Hotel in Methoni. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was excellent, and Eleni and her staff couldn't have been more helpful. We really enjoyed the visit, and we've already booked to come back in 2026.

I booked at the last minute and they still made me feel so welcome. Eleni, the owner and host, is genuinely sweet and helpful, and I really appreciated that. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent, and the location is hard to beat. My first-floor room was quiet, and I slept like a baby. The balcony looked out over the town's main square. I spent two weeks here and had no issues. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean and nice, and there was a cleaning service from 9:00 am to 13:00 pm. Breakfast costs 10€ and runs from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. You can sit inside or outside the hotel and choose whatever you'd like from the trays.

The freshly prepared breakfast brings together Greek and Continental food with a hint of British tradition, and does it really well. The spacious bedroom also had free WiFi, a television, a fridge, and even a kettle for tea or coffee. We've stayed at this family-run, ultra-modern hotel three times since 2015, and its high standards have held steady from welcome to departure. Everything needed for a memorable stay is there. No negatives at all. Next time we'll stay longer!
