We went in September with friends. We didn’t meet the host himself, but his mother was very kind. We were able to switch to a larger apartment, which had a small kitchen and bathroom and was very comfortable. The location was good, close to the beautiful beach.

The location was convenient, near the beach and supermarket, and the room had a fridge, countertop, some dishes, and detergent. But the room itself was extremely small and old, nothing like the pictures. If you open the window, mosquitoes get in. I killed six in one night. The air conditioning wasn’t great, and light from the stairwell stayed on at night. Sound carries easily from the stairs and balcony. The bathroom glass did little to stop water splashing everywhere. There was no shampoo, only hand wash, and towels were changed every two days. The drain smelled awful, even from the bed, which was the worst part for me. The key fob shows the address and room number, so I took it off in case it got lost. The price was above average for a room that wasn’t. We stayed four nights, and one morning the cleaner nearly unlocked the door while we were barely dressed. We had to shout to stop her. That was disturbing and very unprofessional. I won’t stay at this hotel again.

Our apartment had a huge roof terrace with an amazing view. The accommodation was great, just 50 meters from the beach and near plenty of shops and restaurants. In Naxos, I’d highly recommend renting a vehicle to see other towns and get around the island easily.

It was a quiet, pleasant stay in a well-located apartment, with the beach only 50 meters away. There’s a free public parking lot nearby. The room was cleaned daily, and towels and bed sheets were changed at intervals of no more than two days.
