The family made us feel welcome and were helpful throughout our wonderful late-September holiday. Our room was lovely, with two balconies and a seating area, and the hotel was spotless. The pool was excellent, with plenty of sunbeds, all kept very clean. Breakfast had a wide choice of hot and cold dishes and lots of sweet treats. It’s about a five-minute walk to the sandy beach, where you can hire sunbeds or use the public section at the far end. There are plenty of good-value places to eat in the village, and a supermarket right beside the hotel. We loved staying here and would definitely return. It’s a great base for exploring Naxos.

The hotel is beautifully set in farmland, with vegetable gardens, lemon trees, blackberry trees, fig trees, and goats wandering in the fields. We woke to roosters calling. Christopher makes excellent coffees, especially iced coffee, and Dimitris and Maria offered us their delicious homemade wine when we arrived. The family who own and run the place greeted us with big hugs and treated us like relatives from the moment we got there until we left. The pool and deck were always clean, with staff up at dawn to take care of them. The location was ideal too: there’s a bus stop right outside with buses every 30 minutes, a full-service grocery store beside the hotel, a great bakery down the street, and several restaurants to choose from. The white sandy beach is within walking distance. We’ll definitely return. This was our number one hotel stay, and the best hotel on Naxos!

Maria runs this lovely family hotel and was attentive to us, making sure guests were a priority. The rooms and grounds were clean and well kept, and the pool area was wonderful, with lots of seating. Breakfast was incredible, with something for everyone. It’s just a three-minute walk to one of the island’s most beautiful beaches and to some delicious restaurants. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in Naxos.

The owners were so kind and helpful, and made us feel like family. We slept well in comfortable beds, and our apartment was peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful terrace. Our rooms were spacious and practical, spotlessly clean, and the homemade breakfast with traditional local products was delicious. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It’s a five-minute walk to the beach, two minutes to a supermarket, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. We’ll come back to Birikos hotel!

Maria and her family made us feel very welcome at this lovely family hotel. We had a nice apartment, and the pool was great, with lots of sunbeds and umbrellas. Breakfast was amazing. The location was just right: quiet, yet only a five-minute walk to the beach and restaurants.
