Liana Beach Hotel & Spa

The spa was the highlight for us. During our stay we could book a session and use the steam room, sauna, and large jacuzzi at no extra cost. We also found transfers into town easy, and our driver was very nice. Renting a car through the hotel's partner company let us explore the island at our own pace. Reception also pointed us to a great cooking class, which we'd definitely recommend. We were on our honeymoon, but the hotel itself wasn't quite our taste, even though nothing was really wrong with it. The beach is right there and the views are beautiful. Breakfast was okay, though bees kept getting around our food, so we often ate on our balcony. The in-room jacuzzi was basically unusable. After it warmed up, little sand bugs would swim in it, and the filter couldn't catch them. Having it cleaned twice didn't fix the problem. We also found little to do or eat around the hotel, and the food and drink prices there were much too high for us, so we didn't buy any. Since this was our first visit to Naxos, we learned that for an October trip we'd rather stay in Chora (Naxos Town).

Our wedding memories at Liana Hotel will always be special, especially the thoughtful surprise after the ceremony: rose petals, a personalized note, and a sweet “Just Married” sign in our room. Sophia and the team made us feel cared for throughout. Before we even arrived, Sophia replied quickly and warmly to our emails and helped us find local wedding vendors. The hotel sits right on beautiful St. George Beach, with complimentary sun beds for guests. Shops, restaurants, and bars were an easy short walk away. We were welcomed with a complimentary local citrus Kitron liquor, and the breakfast buffet each morning was tasty, plentiful, and nicely varied. Our room was comfortable and had what we needed. We had booked one with a private hot tub facing the pool, though we couldn't adjust its heat. Liana Hotel made a lovely base for such an important trip, and we're grateful to Sophia and the whole team.

We had such a good time at Liana Hotel. The setting and hotel are gorgeous, right by one of the island's best beaches, and everyone was so kind and friendly. You will need a car to get around, though you could potentially walk to amazing, sandy Plaka beach. Thank you María, Sofía, Paris, Freddy and everyone!

The Liana Beach team were a huge help when ferry cancellations meant we needed to arrange new sailings. They made sure we were accommodated throughout. The beach was pristine, with sunbeds and umbrellas, and the hotel has a lovely restaurant in a superb location. Our room was spacious and clean. A hundred stars for the staff!
