Naxos Island Hotel

It was easy to pop back to our room from the nearby beach, which we loved. We spent two nights here on our honeymoon. The hotel was peaceful, with only 16 rooms, so there wasn’t much traffic inside. Our room was comfortable, with a lovely ocean view from the balcony. The rooftop infinity pool and bar were great, and breakfast was excellent each day. We also enjoyed chatting with the welcoming, helpful staff. Highly recommend for a stay in Naxos!

Antonia made our multigenerational family of six, including children aged 5 and 8, feel at ease during our July 2025 stay. They placed us in adjoining family rooms, both bright and with balconies, each themed after a town in Naxos. Stefano was always ready to help, and the whole Naxos staff were friendly, professional and full of Greek spirit. The top floor has an infinity pool the kids loved, plus a restaurant and bar with a phenomenal view of Naxos’s turquoise water. We had easy access to the beach and beachfront restaurants, and the hotel is well placed for restaurants, bakeries and shops. We all had a wonderful time at Naxos Island Hotel and highly recommend it.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent. Still, the hotel doesn’t feel like a true five-star stay. The room was average at best, three stars or less by my rating. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the room felt dated. There’s also no night service, which I’d expect at a five-star property. It’s not a bad hotel, just not luxury level.

Stefanos at the rooftop restaurant was the heart of my stay. He brought real warmth and professionalism, and made the place feel relaxed and familiar. I could unwind, enjoy the view, and feel looked after. The rest of the hotel was just as thoughtful: spotless rooms and common areas, crisp linens, and staff who were kind and helpful, including the hardworking housekeeping team. I often had what I needed before I even asked. From arrival, the welcome felt genuinely warm rather than formal. My time at Naxos Island Hotel was restorative as well as comfortable. Ten out of ten, and I’d return in a heartbeat.
