The B&B owner was kind enough to pick us up after midnight, but getting back was painful. We couldn’t pay for a taxi by card, so we had to walk to the bus stop. A taxi to the port costs 40-44€. With two heavy suitcases, the sandy road and the walk of around 20 minutes after the bus stop were rough, especially beside a small, dirty, smelly lake. My back is still hurting from hauling our bags. If you travel with luggage, this place is really inconvenient. Coming by ferry means taking a bus and then walking about 20 minutes. I wish I’d known all that before booking. The room itself was very poor too. The sheets were stained and dirty, the old bed was so uncomfortable I could feel the metal springs against my back, and the sink water didn’t drain at first. We stayed three nights and regret it. I thought it would be close to the beach and easy to get to. Never again.

The family Marganitis were the kindest hosts we’ve had in Greece. Their helpful tips and the conversations we had made the trip feel more personal, and they made us feel very welcome. The apartment was well equipped, clean, and had fresh towels every other day. It was lovely to wake up to the sea view and have coffee on the balcony or main terrace. Agios Prokopios beach is close, but the place itself was peaceful, without larger hotels right nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

A pleasant place to stay, with the main town and its many amenities nearby. There’s also a long beach bar with umbrellas about five minutes away.

The wonderful view from the apartment was a real highlight, and Helena and Irene, mother and daughter, made the holiday especially nice with their kind presence. We stayed at Panoramic view from 16th to 30th of August, and hope to return. Marco, Monica, Francesco e Riccardo
