Virtu Suites

We had a lovely 3-night stay in September. The beach is amazing, and the hotel includes beach loungers, so the location is hard to beat. The staff were very nice. We’d book here again when we return to Naxos.

The staff were a real highlight, especially the beach team, who were attentive, friendly, and made us feel looked after. We also loved the stylish design, the location, the reserved beach loungers, and the incredible restaurant. We’d been excited to stay at Virtu, but because of the cost we booked just one night. It ended up being the least exciting of the places we stayed. It was still a pleasant experience, though some things didn’t quite meet what we expected from a 5-star hotel, keeping in mind that ratings may differ between countries. The mattress wasn’t comfortable, and the air conditioning was far from the bed, so the room stayed warmer than we’d have liked overnight. There was no turndown service, which is usually standard at a 5-star property. We also noticed stains on the countertop, walls, and some furniture, along with a loose faucet. These took away from the impression of cleanliness and luxury. With some improvements to cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail, the hotel could better deliver the 5-star experience its staff are already working toward.

Tasos at the front desk was especially kind and attentive, and helped make our stay memorable. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout. The hotel was beautiful, with a perfect location, and reserved the front row on Agios Prokopios beach for guests. That made us feel valued.

The team made this stay special. Tasos greeted everyone warmly and took time to share useful details. Nikos and Marina were attentive and accommodating with beach service, and Aphrodite was very helpful. Joy & Noy kept everything impeccable. Meeting Nick was the highlight: he made us feel like family and looked after us so well at every meal at Sensu. The hotel is beautiful, with thoughtful design and layout, and the restaurant served excellent food. It’s a family-owned and operated boutique hotel, and the owners were present and hands-on throughout our stay. A must-stay when visiting Naxos.
