Poseidon Apartments

The Greek breakfast was great, and the restaurant downstairs was a real highlight. It sits right on the waterfront, with gorgeous harbor views, delicious food, generous portions, and very personable waiters. The hosts were lovely and attentive, and the apartments are great for the price. There are some lovely beaches close by, and they also have rental cars on site. One of the best all-around places we’ve stayed in kefalonia, especially for the price. We’ll definitely add it to our list to revisit.

We felt welcome at Poseidon, Kefalonia from the moment we arrived, thanks to the very friendly owner. He’s also a good chef, and breakfast brought a different surprise each day. The waiter serving it was a really nice guy. We ate dinner at the restaurant several times too. The food was good, the atmosphere was perfect, and the waiters were lovely, especially the singing one and his quieter friend. :) Our studio had a beautiful balcony view of the sea, harbor, and boulevard. We really love this place! The family is so welcoming and makes you feel at home. Mr Themistoklis, the owner, is a kind and attentive person who carefully plans the menus around our preferences. The restaurant is quiet, and the staff prepare fantastic, fresh food. Everything was amazing.

The restaurant was absolutely incredible, and the apartments were a great place to stay, with excellent showers and beds. I had a 10/10 experience and would definitely go back. Restaurants, markets, and gift shops are all nearby.
