I’d definitely recommend staying here!

We felt at Athina's more like friends than guests. The beach and its several restaurants are an easy walk away, and the hosts left the kitchen and fridge stocked with essentials for the first few days. Homemade cakes and fresh fruit turned up as a lovely surprise now and then. We visited in October and really enjoyed the bay view, the individually furnished apartments, and the lovingly tended garden. It was just the place to forget the stress and bustle of Germany for a few days.

Kato Zakros is already quite isolated, and this property makes the setting feel even more special. It sits on a hill with a lovely view over the bay, and the peace and quiet are wonderful. Our room had a mezzanine that got a bit warm. The bathroom was somewhat small, though it suited this kind of property. Recommended.

The owners gave us a warm welcome, and we were occasionally surprised with cake and fruit. Since shops are a bit far away, it was helpful that the fridge was stocked with various items. We spent a week at Katerina Apartment and loved the location and the stunning view from our apartment's two balconies. There’s a short walk down to the beach, with several restaurants there, and plenty of walking routes to enjoy. A great spot for a quiet, relaxing break. Thanks for your hospitality.
