The Stanley

We paid 55 euros for a taxi from the airport, which took about 30 minutes. There are lots of restaurants nearby, so I'd skip the expensive one at the hotel. The rooms are smaller than they appear in the photos, though the location is central and the breakfast buffet is good. There's an espresso machine in the room and a nice rooftop lounge. The pool isn't heated, the sauna is tiny and only fits four if you squeeze in, and there's no jacuzzi.

After checkout, we could leave our bags safely at the hotel until our flight, which meant we could keep exploring Athens right up to the last minute. The top-floor view was lovely both day and night, and breakfast was an awesome buffet. Helpful staff, a comfortable stay and a great location too. I'd come back to The Stanley and recommend it to friends and family.

Our room was cozy, and the location made it easy to explore Athens. What stood out most was how warmly the staff welcomed us and how willing they were to help. They were flexible and added a personal touch that made us feel valued. Thanks especially for arranging a late checkout, it made the day much easier. I'd recommend staying here.

I was here for work, so I can't say much about sightseeing, but the metro is close by and the location works well for getting to the airport without a long drive through Athens traffic. Breakfast was great, and everyone from reception to the bar was very friendly and helpful. The standard room felt pretty bare. Even a big photo or picture on the wall would make it cozier. Still, it was perfectly clean and well maintained. Hope I can stay longer next time.
