Kazamia Villas

This was our favourite accommodation in Crete out of all the places we’ve stayed, and it’s ideal if you want a quiet holiday. The owners are welcoming and helpful, while still respecting guests’ privacy. The apartment had everything needed for a good holiday, and the apartment, pool, and grounds were clean and well maintained. The spacious grounds are pleasant, with lovely flowers, fruit trees, and an olive grove. Sitia, a beautiful town just 3 kilometres away, has good restaurants, supermarkets, other shops, and a nice beach. The excellent east coast beaches, including Vai, are only a 20-minute drive away. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday, Mrs and Mr Kazamias. We’ll be back!

There’s potential here, but the lack of maintenance is making things worse each year. It feels like some repairs and painting were done a few years ago, then upkeep stopped. The place was dry and worn, unlike the online pictures, and the BBQ was filthy. The pizza oven was being used to store cleaning supplies. Many pool sunbeds were broken. Our accommodation wasn’t as described and wasn’t clean. There was no wifi around the property and no TV. Air conditioning was only in the living room, so the bedrooms got very hot. We won’t be returning.

The owner overbooked and cancelled our reservation one day before arrival, so we never got to visit. Good luck!
