Creta Royal - Adults only

There’s little to do here beyond the beach, pools, or sitting at the bar. There’s no music or organized activities, and the resort is quite far from the nearest city and nightlife, so you’d need transport for more evening action. It’s probably a better fit for older couples or anyone after a quiet break than for younger people looking for lively entertainment. Creta Royal is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained, with direct beach access and nice swimming pools. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are welcoming, and the food is very good. If you want to unwind somewhere scenic with good meals and friendly service, it delivers. If you’re looking for excitement and lots of activities, you may want somewhere else.

The beach was clean and peaceful, just a few steps away, and the rooms had a lovely design that made it easy to relax. There was plenty of delicious food to choose from. Best of all, the staff were warm and friendly from the moment I arrived and made me feel welcome. Their hospitality gave the trip a personal touch. I’m already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for a relaxing, memorable holiday!

The food was lovely, with fresh small batches coming out from behind the counter, and the desserts were gorgeous. There’s also a very good choice of drinks included in the all-inclusive package. Our room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job. We brought sand in from the beach every day, but the room was clean again after the daily service. We’ve just come home after an amazing week at Creta Royal. It may not be a typical luxurious five-star hotel, but it suited us perfectly for the peace and quiet we wanted. It was nice to come back and relax in the afternoon after doing activities earlier in the day. The staff were very friendly and greeted us with a smile. All-inclusive guests get a small plastic card instead of a wristband; that didn’t bother us, as staff seemed to remember us after seeing it once or twice. Definitely recommend it for a relaxing holiday. We’ll come back next time we visit Crete. Thanks for a great week!

This was our second stay at the lovely hotel. Service has slipped a little since last year, but it’s still acceptable. The drinks at the Royal are really good, and the food is simply amazing. There are a lot of German tourists, some of whom behave badly, though that’s not something the hotel can fix. Highly recommend. Christine, the guest liaison, made everything seamless. She deserves a raise or at least a bonus.
