Antigoni

The rooms were nice and clean, though very small, with a little balcony. Having private parking was a real plus. One small flaw for an Italian like me: there's no bidet, which is important to us. Thank you!

The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area, and the owner is lovely. For the current price, it's a good option for a couple of nights, as we did. The room was nice but a bit old, which is understandable for the price. I would have liked more attention to cleanliness, though. It's a standard double room, not too big, with a small bathroom, so it should be quick and easy to clean thoroughly. The air conditioning worked, but the unit was old and hard to balance for temperature and fan speed. It was right above our heads while we slept, so we turned it off and opened the window, which made it feel like we didn't have it. With the window open, there was noise and light early in the morning. For just a couple of nights, that wasn't a problem.

Antigone is a great value, with an excellent staff. Maria and her son Stavros met us when we arrived and made us feel comfortable right away. Stavros carried our bags, showed us the room's features, and told us about town and where to go. Maria is truly kind and went out of her way to make us feel at home. We did.

The balcony had a wonderful sea view, with a table and a couple of chairs, and the bed made from two singles was comfortable. Our room was very clean and fully equipped, though the bathroom was tiny. The owner was kind and helpful, and upgraded us to an available room with a sea view. These are nice apartments to stay in Agia Galini. They're uphill, but there are some parking spaces.
