Maritas Apartments

We had five rooms in our group, and nobody had a complaint. Our room was what we expected for a reasonably priced apartment. Keep in mind these are apartments, not a five-star hotel, if that's the kind of experience you expect. The nearby beach bar was a highlight. Pavlo and his team aren't hotel staff, but they were very friendly and attentive, with great drinks, fair prices, and a genuine relaxed atmosphere by the sea. Marita Apartments itself was welcoming, with a clean, well-kept pool. It's near everything but still peaceful, which suited our family holiday well. I'd recommend it to families wanting a calm, comfortable stay in a great setting.

Elias at reception was so attentive and gave us useful tips on the area and places to eat. The room was excellent value and the atmosphere around the place was lovely, with trees and a great pool. We'd happily come back. Highly recommended!

We arrived at about 1 a.m. after driving from the central airport, not the Chania one, and the very helpful lady was still there. For the price, I don't think you could do better. The kids loved the pools for both children and adults, and that made them want to come back. The restaurant opens right onto the beach, making this a bargain compared with other four- or five-star places. Our cottage had two rooms, a small kitchen, basic dishes, and one private shared bathroom. There was also a little open balcony just for us, connected to both rooms. The rooms were quite big, and it worked well for our family: my 17-year-old and 5-year-old were both happy. I'd go back again and again. Just awesome!

There's a nice little garden between the hotel and pool, and the rooms have everything you need. The beach is very close, beautiful, with clear sand and no stones in the water. The only downside was the nightclub next door, which had some loud weekend parties.
