The host made us feel very welcome and helped with transportation from Aegina to Agia Marina, since we were travelling with four kids. He explained the public transport and called a taxi when we needed one. Oelia apartments also has a great location, only 3-4 minutes from the main street with shops and a supermarket. The rooms are clean, the kitchen has everything, and the fenced backyard is a great safe place for kids to play. I recommend Oelia for families and individuals.

We stayed three nights hoping to relax, and I didn't want to spend the vacation arguing over things that weren't working and seemed clearly unfixable. The old refrigerator had a door that wouldn't close, so the icebox kept leaking. There was no water storage tank in the building, and when everyone used a faucet, the pressure dropped so low you couldn't shower. The towels were stained, even the replacements, and the internet was very poor despite being advertised as included in the price during my stay. The room was advertised with a "partial sea view," but all I could see was the wall of another building. Management seemed focused on saving money. Staff were only available through WhatsApp, which didn't solve anything in practice. The attached photos, which BOOKING.COM REFUSE TO PUBLISH, speak for themselves.

The location is good, around a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. It’s a decent place for a family that wants breakfast at the hotel, with a microwave and fridge. The rooms are a decent size and clean, but the bathroom needs renovating and smells. The kitchenette is quite old too.

We came to Aegina island for three days because it’s really close to Athens, and had a nice stay at Oelia rooms and apartments. Check-in and check-out were easy. Giannis gave us tips about the island and helped us out. A nice Greek Summer experience 🙂 ⛱️

The owners are super friendly and go above and beyond to help their guests. It’s a nice little, quiet place, near lots of little shops and a "cinema". The water pressure is low, though, which is expected on the smaller islands.
