Villa Rebecca made for a wonderful week on Crete, and we’d happily recommend it. The house is cosy and works very well for six people. We spent time by the pool and in the garden, and the beach is only a short distance away. It was easy to find free sun beds there if we had lunch at one of the beach restaurants. You can also take a short hike or walk up to the olive fields for lovely views. There are lots of good restaurants nearby, and Chania is close by local bus. A taxi or rental car makes it easy to explore western Crete, including a winery, Samaria gorge, and some nice beaches. We also enjoyed using the barbecue and having a dinner of local food and wine on the terrace. Jolanda was a wonderful host, supportive and helpful throughout. She offered to arrange transfers and extra cleaning during the week, and checked in to make sure everything was going well.

There’s plenty of space, and the villa was clean. It felt like being at home on holiday. I’d recommend it.
