I’m only writing this now because I thought I’d already left a review. The location is really good, near both shops and the beach, and the rooms are nice, especially the ones at the back facing the garden. George was the best part, always ready to help with all kinds of things and make our stay better. I’d come back.

We stayed here at the start of August and had a lovely time. It’s a friendly, family-run hotel, and the staff are caring and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, and the beach is about a five-minute walk, with a few supermarkets along the way. Having a fridge in the room was handy for keeping water cold. It isn’t a luxury hotel, but the pool is always clean and the staff take care of anything you need help with. I’d definitely recommend it.

We had such a nice honeymoon here. They’d prepared everything for us, and we even got free drinks when we arrived. The place is clean, cozy and close to the beach, with the beach, shops, restaurants and gift shops all about a 5-7 minute walk away. We also spent half a day at the pool and enjoyed it. The manager and his family were friendly and helpful, even offering rides into town. We loved breakfast so much that we’re making it at home now, and the orange jam was delicious. They were sweet enough to give us a jar to take home. Just keep in mind these are apartments, not a five-star hotel. If you’re looking for luxury, there are other hotels in the area. We chose this place because it had everything we needed, and we were very happy with it.

We’ve been to the Greek islands quite a few times, but we’ve never had such a warm welcome. George and his family couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel like part of the family. The apartment was great, and the pool and bar helped make it a perfect holiday. We’re going back next year!

The host family were so friendly, and the grandmother even gave us some homemade cake. Our apartment was clean and cozy, and we really enjoyed staying there. The location is handy too, close to the beach and everyday essentials like supermarkets and pharmacies. I’d recommend it if you need a place in Crete. 5/5.
