Ligaria beach is only a two-minute walk away, with nice taverns nearby and beautiful Agia Pelagia beach a little farther on. We stayed in October and had wonderful weather. At Lygaria Dora Apartment, the place was clean, cozy and well equipped, from kitchen utensils to air conditioning and a comfortable terrace. Our room was cleaned every day, and the owners were very friendly and attentive. A great choice for a relaxing seaside holiday. We’ll definitely come back!

We loved the bay, which is sheltered from strong winds, and even saw a big turtle at the beach. It was great for snorkeling too. Dora was a lovely place to stay for 12 days. Our second-floor apartment had a great sea view and was cleaned daily. The water was clean, and we had everything we needed, including beach gear like umbrellas and things for kids. There’s also a car rental service. The beach is just a minute away, and Agia Pelagia village is about a 20-minute walk if you can find the secret path. Heraklion is 20 km away, and there are lots of important historical sites nearby. Food prices at tavernas seemed reasonable compared with some other parts of the island. The hosts were discreet and helpful. Dora is a great base: drop your bags, rent a car and explore wherever you like. We love Dora!

Our ground-floor room was clean and looked nice, with a little garden, a swinging chair and a pleasant table for breakfast. While we were there, lots of cats kept coming by to cuddle with us. The location was good too, just 100 metres from the beach, where there are some great Greek restaurants.

The sea was just a few steps away, with no hill to climb, and from our bed we had a lovely view of it. I really liked that. The apartments are modern, beautiful and comfortable, with everything you need. I definitely recommend them.
