I stayed there in mid-October 2025. The weather was nice, and the sea was around 21-24, really clean and lovely. It’s one of the best places in the world. Heraklion is very close, Chania is a two-hour drive, Rethimno is 45 minutes away, and Agios Nokolaus is under two hours. There’s also Famost Stendoni Cave, and of course Midas (Minoan Knossos) Palace in Heraklion, which is over 3,000 years old.

The location was fantastic, with the main beach about five minutes away and three other beaches no more than 10-15 minutes away. It was quiet around there without feeling isolated, and our room was spacious and very neat. The WiFi was excellent. The cleaning staff were friendly and professional, and she did a lovely, thorough job in our room. Alexandros was sweet and accommodating with check-in and check-out. I’d definitely recommend staying here, and I’ll be back.

The area is quiet, and parking right outside was easy. Check-in was simple, and Alexandros was helpful, quick to reply and easy to reach. We arrived to a spotless studio with breakfast ingredients and homemade wine waiting for us. We had an amazing stay at elmaral apartments and would definitely return.

The apartment was gorgeous, and the beach is just a couple of minutes away on foot. Fylakes beach is especially close and worth a visit. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful. Thanks for making our stay special. We’ll definitely be back!

The apartments were brand new and spotless, and the hosts were polite and helpful. It was a wonderful stay in Agia Pelagia and across Crete. The place is close to both the beach and restaurants, and I can really recommend it.
