Infinite Blue Apartments

As Canadians, we’ll remember this four-week holiday for a long time. The view across the Aegean was spectacular on our first day and just as beautiful on the last. The apartment was very clean and everything worked perfectly. Our host kept in touch well on WhatsApp, and we’d rate the whole experience a solid 6 (!). You do need a car to get here and see the many picturesque places nearby. The gated community felt safe and secure, and we could be as social or private as we wanted. Infinite Blue Apartment is peaceful, with no distractions or noise of any kind, and we’d gladly recommend it. Fantastic is the word.

The owner and manager were friendly, quick to respond, and helpful, including with their local suggestions. From the two balconies you can pick a lovely sea view that suits the sun and wind. There’s also a huge grill and a wood-fired oven, great for watching the sunset over a glass of red while cooking. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood away from mass tourism, but the beach is still only five minutes away. Heraklion is 25 minutes by car, and the new national road is close by, making other places quick to reach. We’d go back any day, hopefully soon.

We had a great stay, and the host was very helpful. The terrace is huge and the view is lovely. The location is handy, close to a main road but far enough away that traffic doesn’t bother you. There’s a grill available for a night in with friends, though we didn’t use it. The wind can be strong, so take care with anything you leave outside. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Crete. A lovely place for a family holiday, with beaches nearby and Heraklion just 15 minutes away. The apartment had everything we needed. We stayed on the middle floor, which I think is the best one, with three patios where you can choose between sun and shade. Anastasia took care of whatever we needed. A perfect stay.
