The rooftop view was a lovely surprise, and I liked that the hotel sits in a quieter part of the old city while still being close to the Old Town centre and Old Port. Nikos gave me a helpful introduction to the city and suggested some wonderful restaurants. He and Maria were kind, helpful and funny. My room felt cosy and comfortable, a nice place to rest for two days.

Nick & Maria made me feel so welcome. They answered my questions quickly before I arrived, and even shared traditional Greek liqueur, a Greek dinner, and 20-year-old Greek wine. The ocean view from my room was lovely, and I spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony. There’s a small fridge with a bottle of water waiting in the room, a really comfortable bed, and a great shower. The rooftop was fabulous too. One of the best places I’ve stayed, with real Greek hospitality.

We ended up staying longer because of the ferry strike, and the hosts were wonderful and helped us with everything. The rooftop has an unbeatable harbor view. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, with good restaurants and shops just a few steps away.
