Even the attractive, carefully landscaped garden and the nearby beach in sight couldn’t make up for the noise. From early morning until night, there was drilling, hammering, sawing, and the steady sound of engines from construction next door. The landlord was friendly but couldn’t do anything about it. Inside, the apartments felt cramped, dated, dark, and poorly looked after, nothing like the garden. The shower was tiny, and its curtain was much too short. This was a long way from the peace and quiet we expected.

Georges, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was spotless. There are two bedrooms with double beds and air conditioning. The shower is tiny, but the outdoor area is nicely equipped for relaxing. The view is splendid, right by the water. I highly recommend it.
