We only spent one night here and left before breakfast, so I can't say how the food is. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the price was great. There's plenty of storage for a longer visit, too, plus a lovely balcony with a couple of loungers. Right on the beach, and since we live on Crete now, we'll be back.

The room was much nicer than the online photos suggested, with a pretty little terrace and a beautiful view. Since it's the first hotel you come to from the boat, the location is really handy. They also let us keep the room for an extra hour after the usual checkout time, which helped us fit in a morning walk up the gorges. The owner can come across a bit rough, but he was helpful.

We had a fun stay, including a delicious meal at the taverna. The view is amazing, and the place is right beside the ferry and about a two-minute walk from the beach. Nicos is a great guy. I'd recommend it.

The owner was really nice, and the rooms have been refurbished recently. Everything looked very clean, though by morning ours smelled like rotting onions. There's only hand soap, so bring your own body and hair wash or pick some up at the supermarket next door. At Paralia Tavern, the shrimp and salads were great, but the ntolmadakia were a bit mushy and the fries seemed precooked.

We only meant to stay because we'd missed the ferry, but Nikos looked after us so well and made us feel like old friends that we ended up staying two nights. Our sea-view room was really nice and great value, and I couldn't fault the place. One day I'll be back. All the best to Gaz and my good pal Steve.
