The pool was so peaceful that we sometimes had it to ourselves, and with only ten apartments the place never felt crowded. Our room was simple but clean, with daily housekeeping and essential air conditioning. The staff were friendly, and having food at the pool bar was a nice extra. It's a quiet spot, around a 10-15 minute walk from the restaurants and beach. The apartments sit up a hill, with a steep first 100 metres, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue. We loved our week and would definitely come back.

We found Argos Hotel peaceful and well placed for a relaxing break. The owners were helpful and really nice, and the pool was well kept, with breakfast available beside it if booked. Breakfast included orange juice that wasn't fresh, coffee or tea, and a choice of omelette or toast. Our simple room was clean and had a lovely view of the pool, plus a little kitchen with a sink, fridge, and microwave. There's a LIDL about five minutes away by car. The beach is a seven-minute walk, and Chania and La Canea are around ten minutes away by car, making the hotel a handy base for visiting them. The surrounding streets have plenty of similar buildings and the area felt calm. I'd recommend asking the owners for lunch and dinner suggestions.

We spent four nights here with our two-year-old daughter and had a great time. It's a calm place close to the beach, and the couple who run it were lovely and very helpful. Chania is nearby, and you can drive to some of Crete's most beautiful beaches. Ask the owner where to eat, especially about Nikos Taverna. I had the best pork I've ever tasted there.

The couple who run Argo apartment are so welcoming, I'd definitely recommend staying here. Our apartment is clean, the bed is really comfortable, and the shower has both hot and cold water. There's a lovely view from the balcony, too. Several beaches are nearby, and Hania's old town isn't far by bus. We're still in the middle of our holiday, and already enjoying it.

The pool area stays quiet, so it's easy to unwind under a palm, and with just ten apartments it never feels packed. We could walk to four beaches, two of them in under five minutes. The bus stop is about a five-minute walk away, with buses every 20 minutes going straight to Chania. Our room was very clean and was tidied each day. The owner is a great source of travel tips around Chania. We had everything we needed and an amazing stay. Highly recommend!
