Zinovia Apartments was excellent and well worth the price. Our room had plenty of space for two, was comfortable and had good air conditioning. The family who run the place are lovely, especially Stella, Haris and the hardworking grandma who looks after the garden 🫶🏻. The location is ideal, with restaurants, markets and a nice cafe (Pink Velvet) nearby. Buses 21 and 15 pass often and go straight into the city. If you want a holiday where you’ll miss the garden cats, the crickets and the sound of the waves, this is the place.

We spent about two weeks here in June, and Zinovia was one of our favorite places in Greece after roughly a month of traveling around the country. It’s a very short walk to the beach, and the price was unbeatable for the quality and the area. Book directly for the best deal! I work in hospitality and try not to be a high-maintenance guest, but I made a big mistake on our first day: I left something very important on the overnight ferry to Chania. When I explained what had happened, they treated it like a problem in their own family. We jumped in the car, went back to the port, and I got my item back. I tried to tip at least €50 for the trouble, but they wouldn’t take it. Thank you all again for your hospitality. Zinovia is one of the best hotels or apartments to stay at in the Chania region!

My daughter and I spent two wonderful months in these family apartments and felt surrounded by care and warmth. The location was excellent and convenient, and the place was clean and tidy, with daily cleaning and towel changes. The apartment had everything we needed for living and cooking. They met us and took us to the airport, and helped with every issue with practical support and advice. We felt at home and really didn’t want to leave. We’re planning to come next summer. Many thanks to Stella, Kostas, Haris and Zinovia. I highly recommend these apartments!

The family who run these apartments are the best part. They live on site, go out of their way to help, and even arranged our airport transfers. Thank you Stella, Haris, Kostas and Zina. We’ll be back! We spent two weeks here. The nearest beach is a five-minute walk away, with two other lovely beaches also easy to reach on foot. The bus stop for Chania is just a few minutes away, with buses every 20 minutes. Our first-floor apartment was roomy, air-conditioned and exceptionally clean, and we got fresh towels almost every day.
