Trapela Areopolis Boutique Hotel

Clean, comfortable rooms with private balconies, a generous breakfast, and friendly staff. Trapela Areopolis Boutique Hotel is right in the center, so Areopoli’s shops and restaurants are easy to explore. It made for a really relaxing stay in the heart of the city.

I loved the cozy, authentic room and the open terrace we shared with others. The rooms each have their own style, which is lovely. The staff were helpful, breakfast was good, and the central location made things easy. Areopoli will stay in my heart. Thank you!

The staff made a strong impression on us. They were polite, spoke several languages, helped with sightseeing suggestions and dealt with our requests promptly. We also really appreciated the hotel's central location, with shops, restaurants and the town's attractions just a short walk away. It was easy to wander the narrow streets and get around Areopolis from there. We had booked the only spacious suite, which was comfortable and full of traditional character, with lovely antique furniture. The regular rooms are small, so guests in one of those may find the space tight. There is no elevator, and the stairs are narrow and steep, so be prepared to carry your suitcase up. Breakfast was middling. There were some local flavors, but we would have liked a wider selection to get more of a sense of the region's food. The pleasant dining area and friendly staff helped make up for that. Our stay at this traditional hotel was a memorable way to experience the town's culture and history, though the breakfast could have been better.

Maria and Eleni were wonderful hosts, spoke several languages and were very helpful. The rooms were extremely clean, with a nice retro design, and breakfast was at its best. A highly recommended boutique hotel in the center of Areopolis, with an excellent location and great hospitality.
