The location worked really well for us: a quiet but lively neighborhood, about 15 minutes by bus from chania and just a few minutes on foot from the 3 best beaches in chania. Heleny even had dinner waiting after our delayed flight. I’d messaged ahead to ask if anywhere would be open to buy food, and she told me not to worry. She also surprised us several times with traditional dishes from the crete kitchen. The house looks just like the photos, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into what’s provided. We didn’t need to ask for anything, but when you do, Heleny takes care of it. She really cares about your vacation and gives helpful suggestions about what to do and where to go. This is a wonderful example of hosting. If you’re thinking of booking, do it.

Heleny had dinner ready for us when we arrived after our flight was delayed. I’d written to ask if we could find somewhere open to get food, and she said not to worry. We were also just a short walk from the 3 best beaches in chania, and about 15 minutes by bus from chania. The neighborhood is quiet, but still has some energy. The house matches the photos exactly and has everything thought through, so we didn’t find ourselves needing to ask for things. If you do need something, Heleny will help. She genuinely cares about your vacation and is happy to suggest what to do and where to go. A lovely host, and a place I’d recommend booking.

The house is spacious and comfortable, and the location is good. The host was very kind.
