Lotus Hotel Chania

Elda at reception was absolutely lovely. My daughter adored her and kept wanting to stop by and chat. I wish we'd taken a picture together, but I'm sure Elda will stay in my daughter's memories for a long time. Thank you for making her stay so special. Our little apartment had a balcony overlooking the pool, and we were happy with it overall. The main road was audible at the pool but wasn't loud enough to bother us in the room, even though I'm a light sleeper. Some construction seemed to be starting next door and woke us just after 7 on our last day. My child could use both pools, the kids' one and the larger one, which was shallow at one end. There are several beaches within walking distance, though the streets can be tricky with children because there are almost no sidewalks and cars go fast.

We've stayed here twice, and the staff remembered us from last year. They're attentive and very helpful, and both the rooms and pool are lovely.

The location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast is delicious. Add a lovely pool and friendly staff, and it's a fabulous place.

The staff were honestly the best part of our week in apartment 11 at Lotus hotel apartments. They were so helpful, and the apartment was cleaned really well every day. The hotel breakfast had everything we needed, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. A bus stop is almost directly across the road. We also enjoyed the three pools, which somehow never seemed crowded, even in the busiest season. The family pool goes from 0-1,40 M deep, there's a 50 cm children's pool, and another lovely pool beside reception that's 1,45m deep. The free water zumba on Wednesdays was a great extra. The instructor was very good, and I tried it for the first time and enjoyed it. Our second-floor apartment was spacious and recently renovated, with a large shower and air conditioning that worked very well. It had two single beds that could be pushed together, plus a nice balcony with two chairs, a table and a drying rack. My one pool-area gripe was that there weren't many of the best sunbeds. People sometimes put towels out at 6am, then only used the beds for an hour or two between 11-1. There were other perfectly usable loungers, though.
