We loved the amazing pool and its stunning views, and the hotel is beautifully situated by the sea, a short distance from the center of Chania. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and carefully designed down to the details. The staff were incredibly kind and professional, always ready to help. It's the combination of the seaside setting, comfort, hospitality, and easy access to the city that made our stay so memorable. The whole experience was lovely, and we'd love to return. Highly recommended, definitely a five-star stay! 🩵🌅🏝️

We stayed here in May 2026, rented a car at the airport, and explored the outstanding places on our own. The hotel was beautiful and cozy, with a wonderful pool and delicious breakfasts. We liked everything: it was clean, rooms were cleaned every day, and there was plenty of delicious breakfast food, all super fresh. The location was great, with a view of the sea and a lovely small church on the coast. There's free parking, and everything was organized really well. Thanks to the family who created this cozy hotel and welcomes guests here. We wish your family business prosperity and lots of polite, nice guests! 👍

Breakfast on the fourth-floor terrace, with that sea view, was so lovely we didn't want to leave. There was plenty of variety and something different to try each day. The pool was beautiful too, with views over the area and the sunsets, and parking was plentiful, so having a car was easy. Porto Alegre Hotel is well placed, with bus stops, shops, and restaurants right by the entrance. The rooms were clean and well kept, with air conditioning, and the staff looked after us and made sure we had what we needed. The owners were especially kind and helpful. On departure day, we could leave our luggage in the hotel's storage room. We spent a wonderful week here and will recommend it to friends and family looking for a place to stay in Crete ❤️😊

We spent two weeks here and the breakfast view was the best part. The hotel is well kept, always clean, and even smelled fresh. Our beds were super comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job in the room, bathroom, and balcony, changed the sheets, and left us fresh towels. Beaches, the bus line, and several restaurants are all within walking distance. Great vibes all around.
