Rea's Sea House

Yanni and his wife are so friendly and helpful. Nice place, lovely pool, and just a 2 minute walk to the beach.

We spent seven days in this lovely house near Chania and would definitely return. The place was spotlessly clean, with a great pool, and the host was friendly and very helpful. We also loved the homemade snacks he gave us as a welcome gift. It's in a fantastic, quiet location, set back from the road with its own parking space, making it ideal for exploring Crete.

The outdoor space was a highlight, with a huge, beautiful pool, a tidy lawn, Mediterranean plants, and a barbecue for relaxed evenings. The pool and garden were maintained while we were there, which matched the house's high standard. Inside, everything was stylish, in great condition, and thoughtfully furnished. Supplies like water, coffee, dish soap, laundry detergent, and cleaning products were already there, making arrival so much easier. Yanni communicated warmly and simply before our visit, and was friendly and easy to reach. He speaks excellent German and arranged early check-in since our flight landed very early. Our family, with children aged 8 and 6, had seven wonderful days in this dreamlike Chania holiday home. The quiet neighborhood has just a few small aparthotels. You can hear a little road noise, which is hard to avoid in such a great location, but the cicadas were louder! 😄 Supermarkets, tavernas, beaches, and other holiday needs were easy to reach. We had a rental car and could park it on the property behind an electric gate. We felt completely at ease and thank Yanni from the bottom of our hearts for an unforgettable week for the whole family. We wish him all the best.

The host was very friendly and gave us useful tips for restaurants and excursions. The house sits slightly back from the main road along the sea, so you can hardly hear it. It's 50 meters from the sea, with the nearest beach 400 meters away and the most beautiful beaches a 5-minute drive away. The pool is long enough for swimming and 1.40 meters deep. Inside, there are two bedrooms and a kitchen open to the living room, all in perfect condition.
