Seaside Cottage is a self-catering holiday home in Kato Daratso Village, about 15 km from Chania International Airport. It has free private parking on site, a garden with BBQ facilities, and free Wi-Fi throughout. Free laundry and ironing can be arranged. The air-conditioned cottage opens onto a patio and terrace. Inside are three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, and a seating area with a sofa and satellite flat-screen TV. The bathroom includes free toiletries and a hairdryer.

The village is really laid-back, with plenty of good places to eat and three or four beaches within a ten-minute walk. You hear cicadas all day, but I got used to the sound pretty quickly. The cottage had three cool bedrooms with big doors opening onto the porch, as well as a kitchen, bathroom, patio, BBQ, and Wi-Fi. The host was very friendly. He waited for us when we arrived around 1 AM, brought us fruit and Galaktoboureko one day, and was just a phone call away whenever we needed something. I had a great time and would happily return. It's top of my list!

It was such a fantastic stay. The villa is even better than the photos suggest, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and everything we needed: parking, a well-equipped barbecue, tables at the front and back, loungers, towels, and blankets. It was very clean, and since we stayed a long time, housekeeping came too. The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood close to a beautiful sandy beach, markets, and lots of good restaurants. We especially liked the place across from the villa. The owners were fantastic and so welcoming. There were snacks and water waiting when we arrived, and they brought us cake during the stay. Communication was excellent, and the owner checked in every day to see if everything was okay. We travel a lot and haven't experienced this kind of hospitality before. Definitely recommend!
