The beach at Kalamaki was an easy stop for a couple of hours, with Nesaki restaurant just across from it. You can hire nice chairs and an umbrella for 20 euros, or simpler ones for 12 euros. We also had massages with a wonderful therapist Fabio suggested. She had studied Thai and other methods, and it was a great experience. Next door, Raku the talking parrot kept us laughing with his imitations. S&K Villas was a perfect place to finish our vacation. The house is spacious, bright, and beautifully finished, and the supermarket is only a few steps away. We liked Nesaki restaurant so much that we ate there two of our three nights, though it was closed on the last night. Getting into Chania town cost 15 euros, much less than getting around other islands. We wished we had more time to visit another beach. We loved our three-night stay and would absolutely recommend this gorgeous Villa.

The only drawback for me was that the basement rooms felt a bit damp. Otherwise, I’d gladly return. The house is amazing, with a thoughtful and helpful host, and the cleaning service provided fresh linen and towels. It’s about a three-minute walk to a great beach, and there’s also a bus stop for Chania city nearby. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Stavros was incredibly friendly and helpful with every part of our trip. The villa was spacious and worked perfectly for our family. We loved staying there and exploring the beautiful places we visited.

The villa is close enough to the beach for an easy walk, but far enough away to stay peaceful and quiet. Stavros was so kind, explained everything clearly, and shared helpful recommendations. He even let us stay a little later one day so we didn’t have to leave our luggage elsewhere. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it ✨

Our time in Crete was made so much better by Stavros and his wonderfully accommodating villa. He arranged travel details and gave us great restaurant suggestions and places we shouldn’t miss around the island. The villa was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. He also gave us a full tour and arranged housekeeping during the stay. When we arrived, the fridge was stocked with snacks, water, beer, and wine, and before leaving he toasted us with the traditional Cretian drink. He went above and beyond to make us comfortable.
