Sunrise Suites

The apartment was very comfortable, with a useful little kitchen, a comfortable bed, and air conditioning that always worked. There was always hot water too. The bathroom was clean, which matters a lot, though it didn’t live up to the pictures. The owner was kind and attentive to our needs, and the beach is very close. We had a very pleasant stay and I’d happily return. The courtyard is beautiful, especially when you can sit outside in the morning or evening.

The location was a real plus, with shops, restaurants, and the beach close by, and the host was kind and welcoming. The room itself was only okay, though, and the bathroom was awful: the shower sprayed in every direction and the walls were damp. We booked because the agent's site and the apartment website said the rooms had recently been renovated, and the photos looked decent. What we found was nowhere near those pictures, and the room smelled musty and moldy. The host's hospitality is why I gave two stars.

The bed was really comfortable, and I liked having a little outdoor spot for breakfast. We stayed in room 2, which was bigger than it looked in the photos and had everything we needed. The welcome was so friendly and cheerful that we felt at home straight away. After two days, Dina made the bed and noticed my husband was using towels instead of the pillow. When we came back, she'd put a smaller pillow there for him. Such a thoughtful, generous thing to notice. Everything was perfect, and we'd happily stay again.

The phone service on June 6, 2024, in the afternoon left me very disappointed. I called with questions about my accommodation, but the woman who answered was rude and didn't seem interested in helping. She made me feel as though my concerns didn't matter. I expect courtesy and professionalism from a hospitality business, and this call has made me question the level of service there. I hope they take the feedback seriously and address what happened with the staff member. Better training and a reminder about customer service may help prevent this happening again.
