The location is the main thing this hotel has going for it. The Romanian woman cleaning the rooms was kind and helpful, though she clearly had a lot to handle. The older man was very rude to customers. Breakfast was OK for the price, but the rooms weren't well equipped. We really missed having a fridge or any kitchen appliance to keep food and drinks fresh during our one-night stay. If you do stay, check out the spectacular hidden beach down the stairs by the main road.

Magdalena does her best, but one person can hardly run a property like this without staff. The whole place feels stuck in the late 20th century. The owner, Kosta, was quite grumpy and seemed to think guests should pay for water served in a jug at breakfast because it had been bought. There were no hens or coffee trees out back for eggs or coffee, so perhaps those came from donations. Who knows.

The family running the hotel were kind and around whenever we needed something. It was very hot in July, so the 10€ a day for air conditioning was money well spent. We enjoyed the quiet pool at the back, and the beach is close by. You can eat breakfast and dinner on the terrace with a lovely view over the bay, and if you're lucky, dolphins pass by. The owner built this beautiful hotel himself. We'd definitely like to return.

Good value for the price. If you need anything, just ask the owners. I've sometimes heard guests being unpleasant to the staff, so in that case, don't expect a warm reply from the Greeks.

We stayed from 2 September to 9 September 2024, and were horrified. The pool was green, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the bath was dirty. There were cobwebs throughout the room and bugs squashed all over the walls. The beds were stained and dirty too, and the owners were completely rude and useless. Please don't waste your money booking here. Love Holidays were no help either when we tried to get a refund. We paid over a thousand pounds for the holiday and got absolutely nothing back.
