We stayed in late August 2025. The place was just about okay, but it doesn’t need a full renovation so much as some basic upkeep, tidying, and proper cleaning. The rooms felt dated and worn, and were very small with barely enough facilities for self catering. We only had hand luggage and still struggled for space to put our clothes. There was just one kitchen shelf, and it was dirty underneath the few items on it, as if it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. A microwave and some extra shelving would help. The pool area also needs attention. It could use a pressure wash and a tidy of the plants and weeds. The only pool shower that worked, and only just, was almost hidden in overgrown foliage. Greece isn’t as reasonable as it used to be, prices and all, and they rose during Covid without coming back down. Maybe that was part of why St Georges South seemed so quiet for holidaymakers in late August. I looked at the huge price increase for the same trip with the same travel agency at the same time next year, and it’s ridiculous. I’ll give it a miss.

We had a great two weeks at the blue diamond. Our room, number 18, was tidy and clean, with plenty of space, a small kitchenette, and a balcony. There’s a good bar with food, plenty of places to sit by the pool, and the sea is just across the road. The staff were lovely, especially Claire, the manager, who’s a fellow Staffordian from Telford 👍 The location has bars, restaurants, a general shop, quadbike hire, and an excursion office for booking trips. I’d recommend the old town and Paxos trips, and a stop at mad Mike's just around the corner is a must 😀 We’re coming back in September 2026 and can’t wait 👍

We liked it so much that we’ve already booked for next year. The rooms are basic, clean, and have what you need, and the location is beautiful. There’s also a lovely, friendly family who make you feel welcome and are happy to help with anything. The pool is nice, the pool bar does lovely food and drinks, and there are lots of gorgeous tavernas within walking distance. I’d definitely recommend it.

A simple hotel with a nice snack bar and lovely pool. It’s quiet in the daytime, then gets busier and noisier in the evenings. There can be plenty of noise from the pubs, as well as boy racers going up and down the road until silly o’clock.

The accommodation was spotless, and the pool bar food is excellent. It’s run by a really friendly Greek family, and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend.
