The food was very good, and nearly all the staff were polite and smiling. Our five-night stay was great: the sea-facing rooms had spectacular views, while the roomy bar and pool area felt pleasantly cool. The hotel and rooms were clean, with daily cleaning and fresh sheets and towels. The one exception was the morning bartender, who we felt was rude and gave poor service.

It’s a small, cozy hotel that feels better than its official three-star rating suggests. Golden Sands isn’t a luxury resort, but it delivers a relaxing stay close to the sea. I’d recommend it if you want a quiet, sunny holiday without needing constant adventure.

We stayed in July 2025 and enjoyed every meal. The restaurant and bar staff work hard and are still so friendly, informative, and kind. The pool area is clean, with plenty of room and shade, and the bar music is always cool. Special praise for the DJs! Thanks to all the hotel staff and services. All the best from your Serbian guests.

The green surroundings and pool were a peaceful place to relax, and the rooms were clean, though very basic. Staff were generally friendly, if a little disorganized at times. Still, I wouldn’t stay at Golden Sands again. I do recommend Corfu itself, which is beautiful and worth visiting. I spent a few days at Golden Sands Hotel, and the location looked charming, but the stay left me disappointed. The hotel isn’t near the beach: getting to the sea takes at least a 20-minute walk. The food was the biggest letdown. It didn’t feel fresh or typically Greek, the choices repeated, and I had stomach issues after breakfast every day, which has never happened to me on a trip before. The quality needs a lot of improvement. The pool bar was poorly stocked with very few drink options. The frappé was so badly made it was practically undrinkable. It may suit someone on a tight budget who isn’t expecting much, but if you want good food, decent coffee, easy beach access, and a higher standard, I’d look elsewhere.

For an affordable all-inclusive stay, Golden Sand Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Everything was very cheap for what we got, and breakfast was fantastic every morning, fresh, varied, and delicious. The staff were kind and always ready to help. Some parts of the infrastructure were noticeably worn or dated, and the hotel could use renovation. Still, if you're after budget-friendly all-inclusive with good food and friendly service, it's worth considering, as long as you bear in mind it needs a refresh.
