Villa Sand Dune

There’s a lovely sandy beach just a short walk up the road, and a good taverna a few hundred meters away, with tasty food, reasonable prices, a nice atmosphere, and great staff. They’ll deliver to the villa if you’d rather stay in. Less than 10 minutes away by car are Aperitto Food & More, where we ate more than once for the delicious food and friendly staff, and Cafe-Restaurant Archontiko, which has a wonderful setting, great food, and seriously cool staff. It’s more upscale, and the prices reflect that. The villa itself is clean, beautiful, and well equipped, with private parking for several cars inside the gated garden. The garden is green and full of life, including lizards and frogs, though they’re more scared of you than you are of them. The pool is large but quite shallow, so kids can play in it. It feels private, with some cars passing during the day on their way to the beach, then quiet evenings. This is what paradise is like!

My friends and I had a fabulous time at this beautiful, peaceful villa. The beach is just a 10 minute walk away. I’d definitely recommend it.

We had a fantastic August vacation at Villa Sand Dune, and the owners were incredibly kind, always going out of their way to make guests happy. The cottage was clean and well maintained in a very quiet neighborhood. There’s a nearby restaurant with delicious, affordable Greek food, and the beach, which has Natura 2000 status, is close too. We loved the jacuzzi and music on the patio. One small downside: there’s only one outlet in the small bedroom, and the hot water tank is a little small, so the water can run cold when several people shower. In the hot weather, that didn’t bother me.

A beautiful, well-kept place with a lovely nearby beach. There’s also a great restaurant 100 meters from the beach, which I highly recommend. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
