Holiday House Skaros in Honigtal, Agios Georgios North, Pagon

Our group was three adults, with no kids, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The Garden house had everything clean and tidy, and the small garden was a nice touch. There was a TV, fridge, washing machine, hot water whenever we needed it, and WiFi. Though it was rated as one star for hotels, I expected something basic and would personally give it five. Everyone we met was professional, friendly, helpful, and polite. I can see why families love the beautiful nature and farm animals. We even met a young boy who said he asked his family to come back again and again. It really does feel like a little slice of heaven. We tried the restaurant and had a superb meal, and the intro horse riding session was safe and enjoyable. I’d recommend giving it a try. A big thank you to Stephanie and Frank at reception, Alekos and Katerina, our horse riding tour guides, and Giorgos at the restaurant. The meal was wonderful, and thanks for the Tiramisu and little goodbye present. I travel a lot for work and holidays, but this place was unique. I couldn’t recommend it more, and we hope to return someday. Thank you for your hospitality.

The kids were so taken with the farm animals and the interactive experience, and they loved the play area. Before we’d even left, they were asking if we could come back and stay. We had lunch during a day trip with Corfu Outdoor & Leisure Activities, and it was the best meal of our holiday. Everything we ate and drank came from the farm, including the expertly grilled meat and pomegranate liqueur. Amazing!

The farm tour was about 30 minutes and cost 5€ per person. It was a wonderful experience for children: we could go into an enclosure with chickens, goats, and sheep wandering freely. The animals were used to visitors and very friendly, especially the sheep, who came over for pets and ear scratches like gentle dogs. None seemed stressed, and they seemed happy to see us. Well worth the 40-minute trip, and we’ll visit again. The grounds were clean, safe, and well maintained, with attentive, polite staff. There were toys and activities for all ages, including slides, swings, a four-person trampoline, and wooden climbing structures, all in good condition on a green lawn. We enjoyed the playground and tour, and the coffee too, though it was a bit burnt. Don’t miss it!

We came back for a second stay, this time with three kids, and all had a great time, especially outside. The rooms are modern and nice, and the service was super friendly. The shower was a little tricky to use without flooding the bathroom :)
