The setting was lovely, and the coffee was great. The host was great too. I'd absolutely recommend it.

The rooms and location were incredible, despite some uncomfortable moments with the staff. When we arrived, a very strict woman went through a bunch of rules. Later, my dad went upstairs to Dandida’s Restaurant to get ice cream. Since it was 38°C outside, a metal cover was over the freezer. He lifted it to take an ice cream, and the owner came over saying, “I can do that.” He said, “No, it’s fine,” but she nearly raised her voice at him for serving himself. It seemed unnecessary to me. We played table tennis by the sea and felt watched. When we turned around, the couple who ran the hotel were staring at us. Another review said you had to track down the man with the key to rinse your feet. My dad said that if you didn't find him and turned on the water without knowing why it wouldn't work, he'd come over yelling.

The restaurant is very expensive for what it offers, and the owner is extremely rude. Be careful if you walk along the beach near the restaurant at night. The owner will intimidate you and demand payment if you're near the sunbeds after dark. What a disgrace, and quite the first-hand taste of Greek hospitality. Don't stay here. Pick another restaurant, there are plenty with owners who aren't rude and greedy.

The owner yelled at us for having sand on our feet when we went to use the toilet. This is a beach restaurant with no showers, just a small faucet for washing your feet, and you have to chase a guy down to get the key for it. Terrible service and an extremely rude owner. I wouldn't recommend it. Try one of the other cafes along the beach.
